Jesus Rivera He is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois since 2002.
Received his Juris Doctor from the Law School of the University of Valparaíso. While studying Law, he revitalized the Hispanic Law Students Association and served as its President in 1999 and 2000.
Before attending the University of Valparaíso Law School, she was a Hispanic liaison and personal assistant to U.S. Senator Paul Simon.
She earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1994, where she founded the Latino Law Students Association. She is also an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Puerto Rico Bar Association.
He is an active volunteer with the DuPage County and Cook County Domestic Relations Division and attends continuing legal education programs in criminal defense and family law.
Currently, Jesús Rivera conducts interviews for the Bar Alliance for judicial selection and on March 1, 2010, he was admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Jesús Ricardo Rivera plans to increase HLAI membership through monthly networking events. In addition to creating a referral list of attorneys, committees in the solo practice areas of Family Law and Criminal Defense will be established to provide our members with legal assistance and court experience.
